A picture postcard pretty 18th century stone cottage totally refurbished in 2009 It is directly across the road (but set back from the road and double glazed, so not noisy) from Tintern Abbey of which it has the most fantastic views. The cottage sleeps 6 in three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and has attractive facilities including a whirlpool bath, a range cooker, 37" TV , WiFi and Ipod docks. It also has the advantage of being in walking distance of pubs and eatieries and has the Wye Valley Walk from the doortsep. The first few bookings since opening have included a honeymoon, 60th birthday and a proposal- so we can safely say its romantic as well as suitable for family holidays !!
