We arrived in heavy snow and more fell during our stay. What a beautiful cottage to be holed up with lots of food, wine, 2 dogs at our feet in front of the woodburner. Our idea of heaven ( we live in a town centre pub)
The walks were nice though a bit difficult in places with 8 inches plus of snow!
The cottage was immaculate and the extras such as flowers wine and fire and lanterns lit for us were a lovely touch . We will return to Vanilla Cottage, one of the best we have had the pleaseure of staying in.
