Excellent meals
The Nairne paty from Scotland took both cottages at the end of June 09. They enjoyed their celebration birthday dinner at the Beaufort Arms Raglan for 9 people and a smaller party went to the Black Bear just up the road which they found delicious.

We have been very comfortable and appreciative of all the many little things that have made our holiday memorable. We would like to commend the Cripple Creek Inn and the Black Bear where we had good meals with excellent service.A pity about the moles which appeared on your good lawn this week. Think about the great topsoil!

Excellent delivery service
We had a home cooked meal delivered from Choices in Usk. It arrived exactly on time and piping hot and was excellent. No messing with drinking and driving either!

We can recommend Sunday Lunch offered by the new management at the Chainbridge Inn, easy walking distance from Vanilla and on the riverbank.
