Great walks near Vanilla Cottage

Vanilla Cottage

Karen and Roger Atfield and Hermes the lab recommend the Devils Pulpit walk near Tintern and Pen y Fan waterfalls walk near Tal y Bont reservoir. Both were beautiful in autumn weather and they had excellent meals in dog friendly pubs close by

Good restaurants near Vanilla

We ate at the Foxhunter. Great food and a glass of free wine for Vanilla guests but the service was slow last Saturday. Beaufort Arms at Raglan comes recommended - hearty food and fast service. The Spar shop in Usk has a deli and you can pick up all you need there too. We had a great time in this lovely place with great surroundings and we will be back!

Tranquil walk near Vanilla

We recommend the walk along the riverbank near the cottage- very tranquil.
