Recommended walks Tintern near Foxes Reach

Like several of the writers in the guest book we enjoyed walks in Tintern near the Abbey and along the river. These walks completed a wonderful time. Thank you for the wine and special fruit vodka. This latter helped us sleep 10 hours the first night! The time has gone too quickly and the peace and quiet was appreciated,
We did not try any of the local eating houses but enjoyed cooking in a well presented kitchen and the discovery of what was where for us to use. Thanks!

Walks near Tintern from Foxes Reach
Dont miss walking along the riverbank ( not when the Wye is in flood) but on a drizzly day all the wildlife is out or in the early morning autumn mist -its just magical. Climb up to the Devils Pulpit ( steep but a great view!) or follow the Tintern trail around the Village and though the woods. You could walk all day for a week and not see the half of it.
