Fionas note If you are very fit you can do it from Llanthony Priory steeply uphill and then down the other side to Hay on Wye- and back again! But its also possible to drive to the top of the bluff via a narrow lane and walk or picnic up there. Still spectacular and not as strenuous. If you are really idle you can drive up, look at the view from the car and go down for coffee amongst the Hay bookshops!
