What a good plan to spend Easter at Vanilla Cottage! The Easter touches were a pleasure to receive.
We have walked and walked. A 2 hour ramble concluded with a fine lunch at the Nags Head Usk and following the river the other way we almost ended up in Abergavenny and had to get a bus back! We also walked to the wharf at Goytre and then along the Canal to Llanover and back. Thoroughly enjoyable. We have also eaten at the Black Bear and the Clytha Arms the former being the favourite.Vanilla has been perfect for our first UK holiday in many many years. We have been delighted by all it offers and have already decided to come back. So much still to explore!
