Readings are at Trelleck, 2 miles from Foxes Reach and the location of our Church, Doctor, and Primary school, not to mention historic standing stones and The Lion Pub with good food! This is the most local forecast for Tintern as well - though note that as Trellech is higher and Tintern down in the Wye Valley Tintern may be a degree or two different due to the influence of the river and the shelter of the Wye Valley.

Visitors to Vanilla Cottage need the forecast for Usk town ( below) the centre of which is approx 3 miles from Vanilla cottage ( and around 13 from Trellech). The attractive little town is in a sheltered position at a lower elevation than Trellech -in the Vale of Usk between the Trellech ridge and the Brecon Beacons and is rightly famous for its floral displays- everyone from Usk Castle to Usk Primary School to Usk Town Hall , all the shops and pubs and even the fish and chip shop has them.
