This was our first holiday in Wales and it certainly wont be our last. The cottage proved to be a very comfortable and convenient base from which to explore this lovely area. Like others in the guest book we have enjoyed the Big Pit and Tintern Abbey. More locally highlights have been the masses of bluebells in the woods and the amazing yew trees in the Churchyard at Bettws Newydd as well as Usk Castle ( watch out for the geese!) We had a wonderful meal at the Black Bear just up the lane from the cottage. Thank you!
